7. Google Analytics and cookie consent

Audience measurement only with consent. If you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no connection to Google servers is made for this purpose.

Purpose: Statistical evaluation of usage (e.g. which pages are viewed, how visitors find the site, which buttons are clicked) to improve content and offering.

Data processed: pages viewed, clicks, time on page, referring page, device type, operating system, browser, language setting, approximate location and a pseudonymous identifier (cookies “_ga” and “_ga_<measurement ID>”, lifetime up to 2 years [check value in Google Analytics]). According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses [check Google’s current statements].

Legal basis: Your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG (storing of and access to information on your device).

Transfers to third countries: Google may transfer data to the USA. The basis is your consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR) [and, where applicable, the adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework – check Google’s current status].

Your choice and withdrawal: Your selection (“Accept” or “Decline”) is stored only locally in your browser (entry “jewelof_consent”) and is not transmitted to us. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. On withdrawal, the Google Analytics cookies of this domain are deleted. The lawfulness of processing carried out until then remains unaffected.
